What software do people use on Mac these days together the best of the dynamic range? I am using Hyper Utility on Win 10 with no trouble After converting the images to either TIFF or JPEG, you still have to export them to Photoshop or similar program to perform further editing. HyperUtility is a RAF converter cum tethering program, not a photo editing software.
I installed hyperutility again in compatibility mode,it starts but almost dont react and i see no tools to edit picturesĪll the settings are shown in the picture. Both software using default settings.Īnd here is something you can't do with HyperUtility.īy the way, I have HyperUtility installed into Windows 7 without a hitch. HyperUtility gives more vibrant colors, crispier images. Lightroom gives better dynamic range, better mid tones. It depends on what you are aiming to achieve. I did,i will try it again but will it be better than lightroom 5.7? KopiOkaya edited this topic 65 months ago.
HyperUtility HS-V3 will work with Windows 7 but you must install in compatibility mode. I guess that is all the more reason to dust off the S5 and go shooting with it again. Are you still using LR for your Fuji SuperCCD cameras? Thanks for that, I guess next time I dig out the S5 I will give LR5.5 a whirl and failing that may be Capture One. Has anyone used Hyper Utility on Windows 10? I am still considering picking up a copy, FinePix Studio is a pain
Unfortunately, S2 Pro has this bugging battery problem which hinders the fun of using it. I think there is something not right either with your workflow or equipment. My photo buddies who are also using the S5 Pro don't have the problem either. Like I said, I never had this green tint problem which you have mentioned. "I wish I can find a way to solve the Hyper Utility's green tint problem." I wish I can find a way to solve the Hyper Utility's green tint problem. However, I still get the "green tint" problem when I convert RAW using Hyper Utility. For that sake, HyperUtility worth every penny.
KopiOkaya edited this topic 108 months ago.īy the way, I just converted RAW using Adobe Lightroom, comparing photos t Jpeg SOOC, th ephotos from Lightroom 3 doesn't have the beautiful glowing warm skin tone. To speed up HyperUtility, all you need is LOTS OF RAM.
I don't have this issue with Windows 7 as compared to Vista. Purple Tulips Photography says: ".The software is very slow and crashes a lot." But the advantage of using it is that it has the film modes that matches the camera's. The software is very slow and crashes a lot. You can buy it directly by calling Fuji or from eBay. I found the answer by researching further in older discussions. Up till now I have converted my RAW files with Lightroom, but have read that Fujifilm's software is best, although slow.Īny opinions if Hyper-Utility is worth the extra work?Īre there Windows 7 compatibility issues? I was thinking about purchasing a copy of Hyper-Utility HS-V3 ver 1.1.
